Job Description:

• We are looking for a software engineer who has excellent knowledge in designing and building applications.
• Proficient in at least one OOPs language such as Python, Java, C# .
• You will work as part of a global team in a fast-paced, agile development environment, to design, code and support a regulatory reporting system based on JPMorgan’s risk, pricing and trade management Athena platform.
• Candidates who are passionate about writing quality code, enjoy facing off multiple CIB business units (including Front, Middle, Back offices and Regulatory Control teams) are invited to apply.

Skills:

• Strong technologist with experience in OO design.
• Experience in one or more OO languages such as Python, Java, C#, preferably Python.
• Good understanding of software architecture and design patterns. Previous experience with Athena for internal candidates is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of a relational database language such as SQL for Vertigo or Oracle.
• Good understanding of trading, settlement of financial products is desirable. Experience with regulatory reporting is desirable but not essential.
• Good communication skills, as well as the ability to explain technical issues to nontech users, are expected.
